Minister says more room for Russian cbank key rate cut
VORONEZH, Jun 8 (PRIME) -- There are preconditions for the Russian central bank to reduce its key rate more, Economic Development Minister Alexei Ulyukayev said during a working trip to the city of Voronezh on June 6.
“The central bank can do everything. The question is whether it wants to. To the level below 10%, -- of course, we must reach this level,” Ulyukayev said.
The authority will barely reduce the key rate radically at the next meeting on June 15, he said.
